In this video it starts with a young girl and a elderly man on the elevator. The young girl pulls out her phone and begins to play music out loud. The old man looked disturbed, then pulled out his phone and started playing his music out loud also. A third person gets on the elevator and noticed the two playing their music out loud then started playing her music too. The video skips a few scenes then come back to the elevator and now there is more people on the playing their different types of music out loud on their cell phones. Then another guy gets on the elevator with a huge radio to his ear. He noticed everyone else playing their music out loud, then plugs some earphones to his radio and listens to his music through his earphones. Everyone noticed what he did and stopped their music and smiled at each other. Then the video ends.


The message I took from this video was treat other with respect and you'll get the same in return. When the first girl started playing her music aloud, the older man looked like he took it as disrespect so he treated her the same way by playing his music louder than hers. As each person entered the elevator they did the same. Once the last guy got on the elevator and noticed everyone playing their music, he could of easily played his music louder than everyone else's because he had a radio. But he didn't he just plugged earphones in and listened to his music that way. Once everyone else noticed what he did, they got the message and silenced their music out of respect for each other. Then they all smiled at one another as an apology to each other. 


I think the author's purpose was to give a message to treat others how you want to be treated. I think the authors intended audience is everyone in the world today. The reason why I think the intended audience is everyone because the author used actors of all ages in this video. If the author wanted to give this message to a certain audience, then he would of used a certain group of actors to play the roles. Example if the author's intended audience was for young people, then all the actors would of been young men and women.
